Light
ARTIST STATEMENT: What is the source of knowledge between good and evil? The source is not any outward influence created by man. Rather it is a divine wisdom which occupies the soul of each human being and which pierces the surrounding darkness to reveal the light of truth. Although this discerning light resides within each of us, it is possible to hone it so that the light burns brightly or to neglect it so that it dims to a faint flicker. While I am anxious to do right and strive constantly for improvement, it is a constant battle against my weaknesses. My loftiest goal is the transformation of my weaknesses into power for good so that my light may shine before all the world that it may see my good works and glorify my Father in Heaven.
